Introduction
GAP Learning Zone is committed to providing a fully inclusive learning environment, both physically and virtually, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 and the SEND Code of Practice (2015). This Accessibility Plan outlines the steps we take to ensure our educational services are accessible to all children, including those with disabilities or additional learning needs.

Current Context and Provision
We use local libraires that have:

Ground floor access throughout the building

Step-free entry with wide doorways

Accessible toilet facilities

Calm, sensory-friendly spaces for breaks and regulation

Use of visual supports and alternative seating (e.g., wobble cushions, floor chairs)
Virtual Provision:

All sessions hosted on accessible platforms (e.g., Zoom or Microsoft Teams)

Closed captions enabled where possible
-
Shared materials in accessible formats (PDFs, large print, screen-reader compatible)

Use of assistive technologies (e.g., dictation, screen readers)
Inclusive Practices:

Personalised learning plans developed in collaboration with families

Staff trained in inclusive pedagogy and differentiation

EHCPs implemented and reviewed regularly

Use of Makaton, visual timetables, and choice boards where needed
